Participation in and management of the research project
At the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim, prosocial behavior of Germans toward refugees and contacts between refugees and Germans are studied.
The processing of personal data is necessary for the implementation of the research project "Frauen für Solidarität". Without this information, participation in the research project is not possible.
There are no disadvantages in case of non-participation.

If you decide to receive an incentive, the data will be processed in order to pay it out.
Publications
Anonymized data and statistical correlations are used for scientific publications.
Presentations
Anonymized data and statistical correlations are used for scientific presentations.
Repository
Making anonymized research data available to third parties for non-commercial research projects (so-called repository).
In case that individual or several of the above (additional) consents are not granted, no disadvantages will arise.

Receiver
· Anonymized research data and statistical correlations in the context of scientific publications: global users of scientific publications.
· Anonymized research data and statistical correlations in the context of scientific presentations: worldwide participants of scientific conferences and in the context of research colloquia at the University of Mannheim.
· All anonymized research data in the context of a repository: internally at the university, the department that provides the repository
· First name and last name when receiving incentives: the responsible department (AB-A) of the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim.
In addition, in accordance with archival regulations, documents must be offered to the University archive before they are deleted. The latter decides on the takeover of documents.
· All research data will be deleted at the latest 3 years after completion of the project or immediately in the event of revocation of your consent in accordance with data protection regulations. Excluded from the right of revocation is the data processing on the occasion of the creation and distribution of the flyer.
· Except for first and last name, which are stored with the budget documents for 10 years for budgetary reasons.
· Personal data that you have provided in your declaration of consent is excepted. These will be deleted after 30 years at the latest.
If applicable, the documents are taken over by the responsible university archive and are usually kept there indefinitely.
· You have the right to obtain information from the University of Mannheim about the data stored about you and/or to have incorrectly stored data corrected.
· You also have the right to request deletion or restriction of processing or the right to object[1] to processing. In the case of consent, you have the right to data portability, provided that the processing is carried out with the aid of automated procedures.
· In addition, in the case where you have given consent to further optional uses, you have the right to revoke your consent(s) at any time, in which case the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent(s) until revocation will not be affected.

· You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is in breach of the law.
The supervisory authority in Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of data relating to you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para.1 lit. e GDPR (data processing in the public interest).
[1] Please note that in the event of revocation prior to completion of the project, payment of the incentives will only be made in part. Please also note that you have no right of revocation regarding the creation and distribution of the flyer once it has been distributed.
